Fall means many things; among the meanings is the concept of a festival.

When it comes to the Parkview cluster, it simply means more. It's about celebrating the cultural mosaic which makes it a leading presence in Gwinnett County, along with bringing the community together as this year marks the cluster's 50th year of existence.

We recently sat down with Sophia Jetpuri-Naviwala, who serves as co-president of the Parkview PTSA with John Carlton. Her background in education (specifically in curriculum and leadership) and current work in nonprofits lends favorably when it comes to engagement and support for faculty, staff, administration, students, and beyond. In providing a point of reference regarding the work taking place, the PTSA is as proactive an entity as possible within and across the community (you may watch and listen to our interview segment below):

A signature event hosted by the Parkview PTSA is the Parkview Day Festival. Since its inception, the support and reach of the event is growing; with more than 100 vendors (consider the first year of the event, they have 10 vendors) representing a myriad of businesses and community organizations, a solid array of kid-friendly activities, community "give-backs" (as Toys for Tots is among those who are participating), and yes, multiple food trucks and more, it truly is a community "hub" providing a celebration of the cluster and more (you way watch and listen to our interview segment below to learn more):

Taking place at Parkview High School (998 Cole Drive in Lilburn) on November 1, 2025 (from 10am-3pm), the Parkview Day Festival is an intersection of community engagement and support along with celebrating a landmark year, as they look to build on the tradition and excellence since the cluster opens 50 years ago (you may watch and listen to our interview segment below to learn more):

And on the first Saturday (and weekend) of November, it's time to "pull up" at Parkview for the Parkview Day Festival.

Notes: You may watch/listen to the full interview and all segments on our playlist (click HERE to visit the playlist). The event is free to attend and open to the public.
