There are those who have their sights set on September.
Ranging from the Labor Day holiday to scenes on Saturdays and Sundays given the onset of football season to a change in the weather given the advent of autumn, September is a special month. And in this spirit, the SEL Foundation is setting the stage with its signature event focused on a sound setting in support of its community endeavors.

As in previous years (click HERE for an article on one of their previous editions), on September 12, 2026 from 6-11pm (at the Edgewater Club House in Lawrenceville, GA), the foundation's event Bow-ties and Big Hats takes place. As it sounds, it's a semi-formal affair to partake of evening activity full of networking, community engagement, and enjoyment for the 21 and older audience (including singles and couples) to enjoy the evening.
Beyond the festivity of the affair, the greater significance is the support of the foundation's service initiatives.
Ranging from the Alpha Esquires (male-mentoring) program to scholarship opportunities for students, the moniker of "party with a purpose" is evident given the community focus.

There are limited tickets available (click HERE) for the event, and in lieu of tickets, there's ongoing opportunities for engagement and extended support by visiting the foundation's website (click HERE to learn more about the complete range of community programs provided).
It's an event. It's an evening affair. It's Bow-ties and Big Hats.
And ultimately, it's a benefit for the community and beyond.
