All in on the ALMA Film Festival. After its debut in the Dominican Republic, the next phase ensures in Atlanta September 30-October 4, 2026

When we last spoke with Anthony Page (click HERE to read our article), he's just coming off the launch of the ALMA Film Festival. With a successful endeavor in the Dominican Republic (and a return March 12-21, 2027), there's plenty to build upon as it makes its impact in the creative arts and beyond.
And speaking of, Atlanta is the site for the upcoming installment of the series (September 30-October 4, 2026).
Our follow up conversation with Mr. Page not only sheds light on the work of ALMA, but the impact of enhanced cultural immersion across film and technology, let alone arts and culture (you may watch/listen to the segment below for an introduction to the festival):
Building upon the foundation established earlier this year, multiple venues in Atlanta, including Morehouse College and the work of Dr. Sam Livingston, are among the presences in place for continued engagement and enrichment for film makers, creatives, and more, not only from the Southeast and the country, but globally. Deeper dives and research to understand the contextual and cultural components is a central part of the festival, and via the exploration of multiple works and more, can provide a more meaningful impact across the field (you are encouraged to watch/listen to the segment below for additional points of reference):
Given the tremendous opportunities present for engagement, including multiple stakeholders (150 and counting), countries (including the Global South), and creative and technological ecosystems, this is setting up to being a truly impactful coming together of minds and culture. There are opportunities to be a part of the undertaking in the early fall, as well as exploring additional ones for their return to the Dominican Republic (you are invited to watch/listen to the videos below for related information):
In the spring, it's about showing and going. When it comes to Atlanta, the ALMA Film Festival is about being "all in", including this being a bridge when it returns to the Dominican.
