Melanated (Pearl) moves beyond the holiday
Today, November 26th (2020), marks the start of the late fall and pre-winter holiday season. However, during the current landscape brought on by the pandemic, it's definitely different compared to what people are used to. Likewise, there are people who are working through a number of challenges, ranging from job status, financial matters, and others.
Thankfully, there are those who recognize such areas of concern and have things in place to assist those in need, and one such organization is Melanated Pearl Corporation.
The Clayton County (GA) based nonprofit (click HERE to visit their website) conducts programs and related services focusing on educating, uplifting, and empowering Black women by providing critical and related services focused on economic stability and mobility. Doing so allows them to better equip and empower women and families across areas related to poverty and inter-related social disconnects.
On Friday, November 27th, from 1-4pm, they are embarking on heir next initiative, the PPP (Professional Pearl Prep) Launch (the venue is located at 5400 Jonesboro Road in Lake City, GA). In addition to timely words and insight from their guest speaker, Detrick Stanford, the following engagement opportunities are available to all who register (click HERE to register):
Professional Profile Updates
Professional Financial Assessments
This augments the work they are doing to make a positive impact in the lives of women and ultimately, families.
At a time where a considerable number are having challenges of this kind, it is even more necessary to do what can be done to equip and empower, let alone keep people encouraged. Given the work of Melanated Pearl Corporation, they are doing their part and more to not only provide access to resources, but accomplish a simply yet meaningful thing.
When people have confidence, great things can happen; this is an opportunity to be a part of something that can yield positive results for the greater community.
