New day, new age, and even more "fiyah"...

A little over 20 years ago, the Memphis-based (I mean Orange Mound) group Eightball and MJG produce a Southern hip-hop (and larger hip-hop based) track entitled "Space Age Pimpin'"; in the smooth, laid-back track is the part of the refrain with the moniker "New Day, new age". While it may mean something different in the context of the song, in other contexts, it can take on the meaning of a different project, a means of adding to one's work product, or simply, it's time for something new.

August 27, 2017 is the original day for such an event; however, with the weather complications of Hurricane Harvey, a new day for an event launch comes to fruition. And on September 10, 2017 from 4-8pm in New Orleans, it'll be a new day, a new age when it comes to having a reliable and high-functioning network for the established and aspiring, ranging from music, radio, television, small businesses, and more.

Celebrity Host Tyressa Ty is no stranger to making her mark in entertainment. With a hosting resume which includes working with Doug E. Fresh, Brian McKnight, Dru Hill, the Tom Joyner Cruise, as well as others within rhythm and blues, hip-hop, gospel, and other art forms, she has a more than impressive resume of professionalism, humor, sincerity, and energy. Add to her working titles of author, corporate trainer, and community advocate, the Southern University alum and member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and her "fiyah" style is full of boundless energy and focus.

Her newly scheduled launch of Fiyah Entertainment brings all of the aforementioned together as a "one-stop shop" of people, services, and related entities. Ranging from established artists and businesses to those who are just launching, it's a subscription-based network that enhances the vision and reach of all involved.

"We want all to think bigger picture, even on a global scale", she emphasizes.

Under the mindset of “Live, Local, and God-Global”, the official launch takes place at an intimate and exclusive venue in New Orleans, patrons do not have to reside in the city (or surrounding area) in order to get connected. With their local, regional, national, and global perspective, entities such as (but not limited to) Global Tax Services (with locations in Texas, Louisiana, and Georgia) is one of the confirmed sponsors. Wild Wayne (Celebrity host of New Orleans based FM radio Q93), Celebrity DJ Chill Will (the official DJ of Doug E. Fresh), and event planner Thomas Touch (of the Epic Center) are among the confirmed guests.

Tickets for the event launch are available via Eventbrite under the title "Fiyah Entertainment Launch Party". A portion of ticket sales are donated to local charity/nonprofit which is scheduled for announcement the day of the event.

Professionalism, sincerity, soundness, and positive energy is what Fiyah Entertainment and their founder, Celebrity Host Tyressa Ty, are all about. Their focus on making it happen can do so on multiple levels.

Follow the fiyah and get connected with others who are making it happen too.
