Critical and vital typically draws to mind a meaning of an emergency or something which is absolutely necessary.

Given the current landscape, when it comes to areas of concern related to immigration law (and law in general), there's a clear need for those in the profession to be purpose-led and filled, having a tremendous acumen within their chosen fields, and showing a level of commitment and integrity given the nature of the day.

Our conversation with The V-Law Group, PLLC provides us with these and related points of reference regarding their practice, along with one of the key areas they work in, immigration law. In speaking with Vanessa Nola-Pratt, Esq. (who is the owner and lead attorney for the firm), it truly is an eye and ear opening experience along with the needed conversation for improved awareness.

In taking a different career path (as she has a number of family members who are mainly in the medical field), Ms. Nola-Pratt not only takes time to share her journey, but provide a point of reference on the firm's areas of practice and context related to immigration law (you may watch and listen to her interview segment below):

In diving deeper, she provides a measure of the current (and changing) state of affairs as it relates to immigration law. Given the moving parts, the independent and collaborative work with her firm (and others) along with the call to continue to constructively network with those in the field and simply being more educated and informed are integral to the work taking place along with pending work in the field (you may watch and listen to the segment below for additional points of reference):

Having a conversation is a starting point, but clearly, there's more to it, including the larger call for advocacy and constructive change. In addition to providing the preferred means of contact for consultation and representation (as they mainly practice in Washington DC and Maryland as well as online depending on the services needed and rendered), Ms. Nola-Pratt shares some teachable moments and life learning lessons applicable to the work of her firm and beyond (you may watch and listen to the segment below):

There are a number of aspects of the current landscape that are a cause for concern. And given the work of The V-Law Group, PLLC, it is essential for her firm and others to do their part (along with others) as it relates to immigration law and interrelated fields.
