Comic books.

Be it youth or adults, this visual style of writing is one which allows readers to imagine, engage, and explore multiple concepts and topics which to carrying degrees, are a reflection of our creativity, imagination, and day-to-day experiences.

This weekend (October 31-November 1, 2026) at the Crowne Plaza Atlanta NE in Norcross, GA (6050 Peachtree Industrial Blvd), the larger comic book community and larger community have an opportunity to connect with fellow fans and more at the Black Atlanta Comic Expo (B.A.C.E.). Under the creative leadership of organizer Greg Burnham, the weekend brings together acclaimed comic book creators, local artists, and more.

Stephanie Williams, Marcus Williams, Alitha Martinez, and Joe Illidge, are among the featured speakers who bring a wealth of experience and excellence across writing, storytelling, illustrating, and editing within the comic book space. Likewise, local (Atlanta-based) talents Keef Cross, Milton Davis, and Robert Jeffrey are among those who the audience can engage with.

Under the Artist Alley, emerging and established creators, cosplay activities, interactive workshops, and vendors provide engagement opportunities across the creative spaces from comics, manga, anime, and pop culture. With an underlying focus on artistic expression, representation, literacy, and creative opportunities for current and future generations, it is a creative way to spend the weekend.

Ticket information is available via the website (click HERE) along with contacting the organizers via email at blackatlantacomicexpo@gmail.com.

Comics. Culture. Creativity. Community.

Under these themes, there's an opportunity to keep pace with BACE this weekend.
