This means preparation for the start of the upcoming season. With the season and home opener just a little over a week away (October 18, 2025 at the Gas South District - 7:10pm EST is when the puck drops/the game starts against the Utah Grizzlies), the Atlanta Gladiators (the ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Nashville Predators) are looking to make their mark In what is arguably the toughest division in the league (ECHL Southern Division) as they look to improve on last year's record of 7 games under the .500 mark (28-35-7-2/65 points) which includes a number of close matchups along the way.

Under new head coach Matt Ginn, the team is implementing a new system and style of play which builds on the positives of last year and puts them in a position to improve on their ability to close out games and teams. Doing so can not only lead to an improvement in the standings, but result in a return to the playoffs and ultimately, pursuit of the league's championship via the Kelly Cup.

As of today (October 9, 2025 at the Atlanta Ice Forum), there are 14 new players on the roster, including 3 who are attending camp on a tryout agreement. In speaking with one of the returning players, Cody Sylvester (forward), it's helping set an energetic and focused tone during camp (you may watch our full interview below):

This Saturday's intra-squad game (October 11, 2025 at 12:30pm EST) allows for an early look at the team's progress during camp as they set their sights on getting off to a solid start this season. In speaking with one of the team's returning defensemen, Anthony Firrolo, he reiterates the team's early focus during training camp, along with speaking to how the fan support only adds to the positive energy around the team and their season expectations (you may watch our full interview below):

As the fall and winter come in full swing, the Glads are truly getting ready for a special season shortly.

In the upcoming days, it's time to Join the Battle.
