When you hear the words beauty, beach, or the Bahamas, it likely brings up images of warm, rest, and relaxation. And while that is definitely a part of it, there's something more to it than just another excursion or vacation.

Imagine if something along these lines provides the opportunity to give back, which only adds to the fun and festivity behind such an event?

This is exactly what Beauty & the Beach is all about, as it's part of the bigger work done by aParent Miracles Foundation.

In our recent conversation with Ms. Melaine Williams, we take a deeper dive on the how and why behind the nonprofit. She opens by sharing how her personal experiences set the foundation for the work done under the auspices of the foundation, including the impact of her father's passing (due to a boating accident) and the perseverance of her mother and family in working through some major life hurdles. In doing so, she has a deep dive and drive to determine how she can support single parents (you are invited to watch the video segment below):

With a focus on providing support opportunities for custodial single parents, the "miracles" provide support ranging from access to resources to financial support and related acts of kindness. Thanks to support from their community partners to help identify parents and others in need, they are able to provide a positive lift and so much more in the lives of parents, families, and the larger community (you may watch the video segment below to learn more):

A key event which provides support for their programming is the upcoming Beauty & the Beach experience. This year (November 13-15, 2026), their travels are taking them to the Bahamas to provide all an engaging experience along with some fun and festive time to enjoy a warm-weather getaway right as the temperatures are starting to dip.

However, the event is more than just a getaway.

Complete with hands-on discussions covering relationships to health and wellness, there are some high-quality teachable and learnable moments taking place. On the other end of the spectrum, there's a model shoot conducted by celebrity photographer Derek Blanks, and with the likes of Jayne Kennedy, Dr. Toni Neal, Joyce Roche', Dr. Alduan Tartt, and other powerhouse speakers (refer to the primary flyer), there truly is something for everyone as the event takes on as much of a holistic approach as possible (you may watch the video segment for additional details):

There are limited spaces available for the upcoming event. To learn more, readers may visit their Instagram and click on the link in the bio for the Zeffy event listing (click HERE), their foundation's website (click HERE), as well as contacting them via email (info@aparentmiracles.org) or phone (770-265-1247).

In closing, not only are additional updates provides regarding the event, but a timely underlying message which speaks to the work taking place.

If I can do it, you can do it too.

When it comes to making a positive impact in people's lives, it's more than just the beach; it's the bold people bound by a passion and purpose to make a miracle happen.

And that can be a beautiful thing.
