With mid-autumn arriving, there's definitely something in the air. And while said air is getting a little cooler (depending on where you are located) and the leaves are changing colors and starting to fall, #AuthorASnorton is heating up and picking up the pace at this time of year.
His autumn started a little early with the release of his new book, 8 months of mercy: scenes with a social introvert (on August 28, 2025 with a debut author's talk at The Bookhouse in Winston-Salem, NC featuring author and poet Lavinia Jackson as the moderator). The poetic retelling of an 8-month stretch of life and its twists and turns is an engaging immersion of poetry, storytelling, and hope.
Speaking of, his recent appearances include being a first-time participating author at the Carolinas International Book Fair in Greenville, SC (September 13, 2025), a book-signing at the Clayton County (GA) staple (Nubian Bookstore on October 18, 2025), and a participating author for the Inspire Author Series, a periodic authors' roundtable series at the Winder Public Library (on October 23, 2025) along with fellow author Valisha J.
With a body of work which includes his journal/think-piece quotes and notes: something's on the horizon, his look at minor league baseball in the Southeast along with insight on the Negro Southern Leagues Museum (nothing Minor), the interview based 9 stories of faith: volume 1 (where people open up about their biggest daily challenges and how through their faith (the faith communities covered include Christianity, Hinduism, and Islam), use of best practices in health and wellness, the importance of their support network, and how they change their way of thinking, they are able to live positive and powerful lives), and his poetic debut Deeper than your deepest sleep: thoughts on love with Joseph Snorton), his range of events across the country make him a steadily growing presence in literary circles.
And speaking of, his next appearance is one to circle the calendar. On November 1, 2025 (from 10am-3pm), he's appearing at the Parkview Day Festival.
A pretty active early to mid-autumn is what the author is all about.
And clearly, he has more on the horizon.
