As we ease into the end of April and the beginning of May, there's ample events on the horizon to take advantage of the spring weather and upcoming big days, ranging from Mother's Day to graduations from schools (i.e. high school, college, trade, and technical/vocational school).
And among them are upcoming events with #AuthorASnorton to conclude the month of April and enter the month of May.
Since his debut in 2017, the author is a presence in the literary field, including multiple appearances at book festivals (including, but not limited to the Mississippi Book Festival in 2017-19 and 2022-23), special events (including, but not limited to the Meet and Greet with Local Authors hosted by Redemptive Live Christian Fellowship on March 22, 2026), and a wide array of related festivals and events.

On April 24-25, 2026, he's returning to the Carolinas International Book Fair as a participating author. Coming off last year's appearance (click HERE for a snapshot from September 13, 2025), this marks his 2nd appearance in the festival's 3-year history. And on May 9, 2026, he's making a return to Maracas Bar for an author's talk moderated by Antoinne Duane Jones, the editor of Majority Greek Magazine (the acclaimed publication which focuses on the impact of members of the Divine 9/Historically Black Fraternities and Sororities).

With a body of work which includes poetry (the August 2025 release 8 months of mercy: scenes with a social introvert and his February 2017 debut Deeper than your deepest sleep: thoughts on love with Joseph Snorton), baseball, including a look at the Negro Southern Leagues Museum (nothing Minor), motivational/inspirational stories (9 stories of faith: volume 1), and a think-piece/journal to provide all a "reset" when life is "life-ing" (quotes and notes: something's on the horizon), the author is also among those listed in the Illinois Center for the Book, noting his and fellow authors' impact on the writing landscape. Combined with his audiobook series, #TheAuthorsMixtape, he provides a freestyle spoken word and music series as another means of creative and literary engagement via listening and audio means (the series is done in collaboration with 3rd Level Entertainment and Canis Major Digital, as two of the editions feature the work of Kris10).
"I'm thankful and grateful for the opportunities bestowed upon me, along with the support I've received from readers, book-clubs, bookstores, fellow authors, and the larger community", he notes.
And in taking note of the upcoming days and ways to connect with the author, be it for yourself or fellow lovers of reading, around April and moving into May, there's a couple of days to mark on the calendar.
It's time to spring into the action and love of reading, community, and beyond.
