The holidays are here; however, in a number of instances, this time of year can put people in a daze, let alone a stressful situation.

Given the current and seasonal landscape, there are those in the community who are dealing with different challenges, including food access. In light of these human hurdles, two entities who consistently collaborate are doing so in a timely fashion and an ambitious goal of feeding 500 people on the upcoming holiday (November 27, 2025 from 1-4pm CST).

The team of Devo Entertainment is no stranger to immersing themselves in the Chicago community (click HERE to read about their #UnityDayChi efforts). On the holiday with their collaborative partners of The Family Den Lounge (8942 Stoney Island Ave), they are hosting a Thanksgiving dinner giveaway as a way to provide a positive lift to those in need.

Thanks to the culinary creativity and excellence of Chef Charlene, it's a way to provide a moment to do more than just pause and give thanks, but providing a measure of happiness and hope for those in need.
