During the holidays or any day, people have the capacity to serve.

And one such group who does so is the Cathy Collins House of Hope.

The 501c3 (nonprofit) has a dedication to empowering children and young families through their programs, ranging from financial literacy, life skills, and access to resources. And on December 20, 2025, they are doing so along with providing opportunities for the community to lend support.

Their upcoming event has a goal of supporting 300 families. With a concerted effort of securing winter attire (i.e. clothes, hats, gloves, and essential items) along with toy donations, it's a way to share the holiday spirit and provide a give-back opportunity.

In addition to a call for donations, there are sponsorship opportunities available. For additional details, readers may contact Demeitrice Collins, the Executive Director of the Cathy Collins House of Hope (404-454-3058).

During the holidays or any day, having a little hope can go a long way.

December 20, 2025 is an upcoming way to do so.
