Get in the groove on this Saturday (July 22, 2023) with the return of Groovin' on the Green
It's summertime. It's time for getting outdoors.
And this includes live, outdoor music experiences.
Of the number of opportunities present to enjoy being outside and the grooves that come with them, this Saturday, July 22nd (2023) at Lithonia Amphitheater (2515 Park Drive in Lithonia, GA), the Groovin' on the Green series returns for their signature concert series. Syleena Johnson is the headliner for this Saturday (the doors open at 6pm and the concert starts at 7pm), as she brings her engaging and immersing brand of R and B to the stage, making her a fan favorite.
Violinist Ken Ford, the "King of Strings", is scheduled to add to the music experience, along with a special performance by Groove Centric. With their presence and style (which includes jazz and inter-related music influences) along with the sounds of Che' Mack on the 1's and 2's, it is shaping up to be yet another outstanding set of performance the series is known for (click HERE for our coverage of their July 2021 event).
To provide a measure of "ease" related to the event, there are food and beverage vendors on-site; there's a clear bag only policy.
Tickets are available via Eventbrite (click HERE for more details) as limited seating is available.
When it comes to a concert series which provides those in East Metro Atlanta opportunities to enjoy high quality artists and entertainment, the Groovin' on the Green series is one which delivers and then some (click HERE for our coverage of their October 2020 event).
For this weekend, make plans to get your groove on.
