Eleven games into the ECHL regular season, the Atlanta Gladiators are making positive moves and more in the early stages of the 2025-26 season.

The solid play of the affiliate of the Nashville Predators (8-3-0-0/16 points) has them in 3rd place in the division. However, they sit a mere 2 points out of 1st place and with a solid showing during their upcoming 5-game homestand (November 22nd through November 30th),the team is primed to take full advantage of the comforts of playing at the Gas South District and making continued positive strides.

A key to their success is the play of their defense.

The team has allowed 18 goals in 11 games, leading to an astounding 1.63 goals allowed average. The combination of stellar goaltending of recently recalled Ethan Haider (a 4-1 record, a 2.17 goals allowed average, and a .932 save percentage in 5 games played) and T.J. Semptimphelter (a 4-2 record, a 1.18 goals allowed average, and a .947 save percentage) and a sound defensive unit led by recently recalled Chad Nychuk (2 goals, 8 assists, 10 points, and a +8 rating) and Anthony Firrolo (2 goals, 2 assists, 4 points, and a +1 rating) are integral to the team's early season success. Complimented on offense by the efforts of Alex Young (5 goals, 5 assists, 10 points, and a +7 rating) and Louis Boudon (3 goals, 6 assists, 9 points, and a +3 rating) along with the leadership of team captain Cody Sylvester, has the team as one of the better teams in the division and the league.

Their homestand opens on November 22nd (7pm EST is when the puck drops/play starts) as they host one of their division rivals, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits. With the game serving as the Glads Fight Cancer game, there's added importance given the team's awareness and support of efforts to find a cure for this public health risk.

After retuning to the ice on November 23rd (3:10 pm EST) against the South Carolina Stingrays (another ECHL South Division rival), their game the night before Thanksgiving (November 26th at 7:10pm EST) has current college students, alumni, and fans of their favorite colleges in mind, as their rematch against the Stingrays is the first of their College Night series games.

In building on the skill sets and team approach during practice, it clearly is translating to play on the ice (you may watch our October 30, 2025 post-practice interview segments with Chad Nychuk and Peter Morgan below):

During this upcoming holiday week, it's a tremendous opportunity to get things going and get along with the Glads.
