As we get into the month of June, it's typically a month of movement; the weather is warmer, people are more apt to taking advantage of outdoor activities, and when you mix in some networking with some gameplay, it can set the stage for a sound summer activity.
And when you add an invitation to the Divine 9 to the mix, it can provide a more enriching experience.
Each month, Zubi's Taco Kitchen hosts their Southside Game Night event. The series is presented by the Shar Bates Show and the Georgia Spartans as it includes the following as a way to provide a festive setting for mature (21 and older) audiences:
Food specials (including 2 for $10 tacos).
Beverage specials (starting at $5), including the presence of Greenwood Whiskey (for those 21 and older).
Music/sounds provided by DJ Tron.
Games including spades, jumbo versions of Jenga and UNO, and more to provide an inviting environment.

For their upcoming edition (June 10, 2026 from 6-10pm), a special invitation is extended to members of the Divine 9 (the collective of Black Fraternities and Sororities). As a way to help celebrate their collective impact for nearly 120 years (to learn more about the organizations established in 1906, 1908, 1911, 1911 (again), 1913, 1914, 1920, 1922, and 1963, click on the links to the respective years). it provides a way for members to network with each other along with the larger community and related audience.
It is free entry as patrons are asked to bring a positive energy to add to the event and larger experience.
Summertime, the outdoors, along with networking and connecting is in line for next Wednesday at Zubi's Taco Kitchen.
Game on.
