Wisdom builds a home, but understanding finishes it.
This sentiment is shared during our interview with Cheryl Taylor. The Trinidad and Tobago native and Tri-State (New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut) resident notes this as a by-product of conversation with her mentor. It helps to use and apply the information at hand accordingly.
And in this spirit. she does so as a presence in media and with her evolving and expanding her reach as a published author.
Via her current media endeavor as the host of the Cheryl Taylor Radio Show (airing Tuesdays from 1-3pm EST on NETT Radio Trinidad and Saturdays from 10am-12pm EST on Live 365/Audacity and related platforms), she covers topics across the spectrum, ranging from arts, culture, and others. Combined with the launch of her podcast (The Next Chapter with Cheryl Taylor available on Spotify, Podbean, IHeart Radio, and other platforms), she's able to conduct "deep dives" on interrelated topics and an added level of engagement with multiple audiences.
And now, she embarks on the newest part of her journey in adding the title of published author.
The catalyst for her expansion is her evolution from her personal journey. Her debut, I Loved Wrong First, provides all with a means of taking honest inventory when it comes to forging healthy relationships across the board. Delving into topics and themes related (but not limited) to healing, self love and grace, self love, forgiveness, and taking personal accountability, the focus is aligned with one's larger growth. Being able to pay attention and minimize the potential negative impact due to relationship red-flags, it is about the full healing and restoration needed to essentially be a better "you".
"It's also about learning from the lessons God is teaching me", she adds and reflects.

The book is available in hardcover, paperback, and e-book (Kindle) formats along with being available on Amazon. In visiting her website (click HERE to visit), there's a limited edition author's pack consisting of an autographed copy of her book and other items.
"Heartbreak (and headache) doesn't have to be your final chapter", she encourages.
And given her work across media and with her book, she is taking to heart the insight shared by one of her mentors.
Wisdom builds a home, but understanding finishes it.
