A head-start headlined by HBCU's: The Greater Atlanta HBCU College Fair via the RKL Education Foundation and the Georgia District Association of Alpha Phi Alpha

Getting a head-start can be a big help; in working ahead, it can put you in position to be prepared and beyond.


On February 1, 2025 from 9am-2pm at South Gwinnett High School, the RKL Education Foundation and the Georgia District Association of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc are hosting their Greater Atlanta College Fair. In building off the work done in previous year (click HERE for our 2021 advance article), the focus of the 7th edition of the college fair is on providing access to resources and connecting students with institutions of higher learning.


Along with interaction with multiple colleges/universities and admissions personnel to get hands-on access regarding requirements and related opportunities, the following on-site components to facilitate the process including (but are not limited to) the following:


  • Art contest

  • Essay contest

  • Band (and related) auditions

  • Giveaways


The program is open to the community, especially for high school students within and outside of Metro-Atlanta, but it is highly recommended to register. To learn more, you may visit their website (click HERE).



With the knowledge of education being the key and passport for the future along with an organizational tradition of Manly Deeds, Scholarship, and Love for All Mankind, the first day (and Saturday) of February can help set a positive tone when it comes to access to higher education.


It's a way to get a head-start.
