About July and into August...

Hello there!

As I take a look at the calendar and get to work on this wonderful Saturday afternoon, I am realizing that while I am hard at work, there is one thing I have not done in a minute.

Actually, make that about a month, and that is the business blog.

From the proverbial, "What had happened was" (and yes, I know that is not exactly grammatically correct, but it does fit), there's actually a good amount of things taking place, including right now. Let's take a look (at the text and then the photo gallery):

Education services: Even in the summer months, we work with students for their June and July ACT and SAT exams (yes, they offer these exams during the summer). In fact, earlier today, I am fortunate to work with some amazing young people in the Covington (GA) area who are preparing for the August 25th SAT. And with some workshops on the horizon with different schools and community organizations, students and their parents/guardians are reaching out so they can "make it happen". With SAT's coming up in August, October, November, and December, along with the ACT's in September, October, and December, the time to prepare is now.

Press/media services: Since April, we are working with Maduro's Cigar Lounge (2997 Cumberland Blvd - Suite 210 in Smyrna, GA). After landing an appearance on The Morning Takeover, during the course of this month (of August), make sure to check out the trade publication Cigar and Spirits; their September-October issues comes out this month (date TBA), and there's a nice article about the lounge, its owners, the services provide, and great slate of programming they have in place (Maduro Mondays, First Fridays [featuring DJ Tronny Blaze], 1st and 3rd Saturdays [featuring the band the EarKandy Experience], and 2nd and 4th Saturdays [hosted by Dope DJ LB]), including the August 6th launch of their Monday-Wednesday special (purchase two house cigars and get the 3rd one for free).

Author updates: Coming off signings in Randoph (NJ), Monmouth County (NJ), Terra' Cafe in Baltimore (MD), the Atlanta African-American Authors Festival, Maduro's Cigar Lounge, Nubian Bookstore (in Morrow, GA),and Sudo Bar and Grill, Author Andrew Snorton is slated to make a return to the Mississippi Book Festival, the #LiteraryLawnParty (making it 2 consecutive appearances). Considering he is a 2-time author (2017 and 2018 releases), this is pretty noteworthy; make sure to visit his site (click HERE) for upcoming appearances, book-store placement, and related special events.

There truly are a good number of things taking place, and there's more in store.

Reach out to us today (or tomorrow) and let's see what we can do to make it happen.
